About For many years, the Foundation has supported education and research in the food industry, most notably through this scholarship program. In 2026, five (5) $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students connected to FPSA member companies who are pursuing careers in food science, food safety, engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, operations, sales, marketing, and related fields

Volunteer Opportunities Volunteer Leadership - Councils & Networks 2-year term | Virtual + in-person Beverage Council – Vice Chair Packaging Network - Vice Chair Pet Food Council - Vice Chair Beverage Council – Vice Chair 2-year term | Virtual + in-person Meets: Second Monday of each month at 4:00 pm ET Overview The Vice Chair supports the Chair in guiding the Beverage Council’s priorities, discussions, and initiatives
Current Focus & Projects The committee will focus on four clear priorities: Growth (Food Producers): Articulating and refining the value proposition for this critical audience New Member Engagement: Leveraging the Connect platform to welcome, onboard, and engage new members from day one Optimization & Expansion: Identifying key industry titles to strengthen and grow our member contact database Retention: Supporting targeted outreach to companies considering canceling their membership Key Responsibilities Support membership growth, engagement, and retention initiatives Help refine and communicate FPSA’s value proposition—especially for food producers Participate in light peer-to-peer outreach with prospective, new, and at-risk members Provide practical input on onboarding, engagement tools, and contact strategy Attend monthly meetings and contribute to agreed-upon action items Who This Is a Good Fit For FPSA members who believe strong membership fuels a strong industry Professionals who enjoy influencing strategy and helping execute it Individuals comfortable building relationships and reaching out to peers Members interested in a visible, meaningful leadership role with real impact How to Get Involved Email Illeny Maaza, Director of Membership at imaaza@fpsa.org. -- Need Help or Not Sure Where to Start FPSA staff are happy to help you explore current and upcoming volunteer opportunities.
